The Texas Education Agency (TEA) provides a summary of information & laws which pertain to education in the state. Although homeschools are not constrained by the same criteria, colleges will expect similar levels of education & skills; so, this can provide homeschool families with valuable information for determining whether or not they're making adequate progress. The site also contains important information on special education topics (such as Drivers Ed) and regarding legal & truancy matters.
