Home School Information Packet - SETHSA has combined information from several sources in creating a "Beginner Packet." This is a great resource for those interested in home schooling. It includes the Home Educator's Handbook, which answers many questions regarding home schooling and the legalities of home schooling in Texas, a map of the Houston area subscribing support groups with a contact phone number, and a copy of the latest issue of The Teaching Pioneer. A small donation is requested to help offset the costs of producing the packet. 

A Beginner Packet can be requested on this website here. Or one can be requested, along with requests for information in general regarding home schooling, by calling SETHSA's voice mail system, where a caller may leave a message regarding their specific question(s). These types of requests average over 3,500 per year, and Beginner Packets are mailed out at an average of 40+ per week. SETHSA also has a FAX [(281) 756-8199] machine available should the need arise for immediate written communication.
