Gulf Coast Home Education Conference 2010 - General Information.

Location:Houston Baptist University, 7502 Fondren Road, Houston, TX 77074

Note: Due to the reduction in the overall size of our exhibit halls, please do not bring large strollers or wagons. There will not be adequate room to maneuver. Also, they cannot be taken into the Dunham Theater during workshops nor the Family Night Concert.

Thursday, June 3rd
9:00 a.m.  Sellers permitted entrance & allowed to begin 'set-up' for used book sale (McNair Hall)
10:00 a.m. - Noon  Used Book Sale - doors open for buyers at 10:00 a.m.
10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.  Exhibitor checkin & set-up available
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Art contest submissions may be brought & officially entered for judging.

Friday, June 4th
7:45 a.m.  Registration opens
8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  Keynote: Todd Wilson, Family Man Ministries
9:00 a.m.  Exhibit Hall opens
9:30 a.m.  Art contest entries must be in place.
9:45 a.m. - Noon  Morning workshops & exhibitor workshops
Note: Participating children may be dropped of 5 mins early
but absolutely must be picked up immediately at noon, since lunch-time care is not included.
Noon - 2:00 p.m.  Lunch period - Exhibit hall remains open
2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.  Afternoon workshops & exhibitor workshops
Note: Participating children may be dropped of 5 mins early
but absolutely must be picked up immediately at end of workshops.
6:30 p.m.  Exhibit Hall closes
7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  Family Night Concert with Jim Weiss, Tod Wilson, & All-Star Youth Banjo Band

Saturday, June 5th
7:45 a.m.  Registration opens
8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  Keynote: Debbie Strayer, homeschool mom, author & speaker
9:30 a.m.  Exhibit Hall opens
9:45 a.m. - Noon  Morning workshops & exhibitor workshops

Noon - 2:00 p.m.  Lunch period - Exhibit hall remains open
2:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.  Afternoon workshops & exhibitor workshops

3:30 p.m.  Art contest winners will be announced & awards presented.
4:00 p.m.  Art contest entries are available for pickup by their owners.
5:30 p.m.  Exhibit Hall closes
