Come splash into summer fun with Home School Day at SplashTown, Houston’s largest family water park! Home school students and their families from Houston and surrounding areas will enjoy a day of fellowship and fun at SplashTown for Home School Family Day, Friday, May 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Planned in conjunction with the Southeast Texas Home School Association, the event is focused on home school students and their families. Students will have the opportunity to interact and socialize with their peers as they enjoy SplashTown’s slides, attractions, and one-of-a-kind thrill rides such as Tornado, Thunder Run and Space Rapids. Participants will enjoy special attractions such as the Mad Scientists, providing both educational and thrilling interactive experiments, along with activities from The Houston Zoo, Houston Museum of Natural Science and The Health Museum. In addition, students will receive a FREE Math/Physics Science Workbook filled with experiments derived from SplashTown’s rides that will challenge them to solve a variety of problems based on actual observations and allow them to experience first-hand scientific theories learned in their studies. Home School Family Day discount tickets are available online at splashtownpark.com for $22.99 plus tax or at the SplashTown’s Front Gate on the day of the event for $25.99 each plus tax. Participants will receive a FREE all-you-can eat catered meal served at the park’s state-of-the-art catering facility, The Spring Creek Ranch.
